Top of the Rock Golf Course at Big Cedar

If you want luxury, then you will definitely want to check out Big Cedar Lodge and the Top of the Rock Golf course on their property.  I have played one round of golf course on this property, and wish I could have played more.  It is a little more pricey than the others, but you most certainly do get what you pay for.  The breathtaking views, and luxurious greens are out of this world.

Here is a more detailed and personalized review of what you can expect at the Top of the Rock.

I had the opportunity to play the Top of the Rock golf course, a nine-hole par 3 course designed by Jack Nicklaus, at the Big Cedar Lodge Resort in Branson, Missouri. It was an unforgettable experience that exceeded my expectations in every way.

The course is located on top of a hill that offers stunning views of Table Rock Lake and the Ozark Mountains. The holes are well-designed, challenging, and fun, with water hazards, bunkers, and elevation changes. The greens are immaculate and fast, and the tee boxes are pristine. The course is not very long, but it requires accuracy and strategy to score well.

The amenities at the Top of the Rock are second to none. There is a pro shop that sells a variety of merchandise, a players lounge that has a pool table and a fireplace, and a restaurant called Arnie’s Barn that serves delicious food and drinks. There is also a driving range designed by Arnold Palmer that has 16 target greens and a waterfall, and a putting course designed by Tom Watson that covers an acre of land and has multiple tiers and slopes. There is also a chapel, a cannon, a wine and whiskey cellar, and a museum on the property.

The staff at the Top of the Rock are friendly, helpful, and professional. They made me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. They also provided me with a cart that had a GPS system and a cooler with water and snacks.

The Top of the Rock golf course is not cheap, but it is worth every penny. It is a unique and memorable golf experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves golf and nature. It is one of the best par 3 courses in the world, and one of the highlights of my “Very Amateur” golfing career.
