If you have been to Silver Dollar City you already know how price a one day pass is for your family.. So the question for today is “Are Silver Dollar City Season Passes Worth the Money?” The answer is yes…. However, the answer is also no 🙂 Today, we will do our best to answer this question. I have lived in Branson since 1993 and am very familiar with SDC, and am very familiar with the tricks of getting the best bang for your buck.
Are Silver Dollar City Season Passes Worth the Money to Spend?
This year a one year adult pass for SDC costs $108.. If you also happen to love White Water, you can add a “Two Park Season Pass” for $152. With the one year pass you will also receive exclusive discounts on Showboat Branson Belle passes. For children a season pass costs $98 and if you include White Water in the pass you will spend $123.
If you will be spending more than one day at Silver Dollar City it would be worth it to buy the Season Pass because just a one day ticket will cost you $65 for adults and $54 for children. So, economically you will spend more money buying two 1 day tickets than an entire season pass! However, there is an exception and a “secret tip” that can help save you some money.
How to Get Into Silver Dollar City for Free!
If you go to Silver Dollar after 3:00 PM and pay for a 1 day ticket, you will be allowed admission for the entire next day for free! So, you can enjoy all evening of one day, and then return the next morning and enjoy a full day enjoying roller coasters, music shows, crafts, and everything else for the price of one day. If your only down for the weekend, this would be the way I would go. On the other hand, if you live fairly close and you can visit Branson on multiple occasions then a season pass would be worth it in my opinion. Especially if you love to come during the summer months, and then return during the Silver Dollar City Christmas festival.
Silver Dollar City Coupons and Promo Codes Can Help Save You Some Money
Another way to take some of the blow off of the admission price is to use online Silver Dollar City coupon promos. You can find them online, or you can purchase a Branson Coupon Book while your in town. They have coupon books at most of the ticket information centers and many shows, restaurants, etc…
Know the SDC Schedule and Plan Your Trip Accordingly
If visiting Silver Dollar City will be one of your key attractions that you would like to attend, be sure to check out the Silver Dollar City schedule. They have festivals all throughout the season. Some are catered to the kids, and others (like the Bluegrass festival) is more catered to the adults. In addition to the festivals, they have great concerts throughout the year so be sure to know what is going on at Silver Dollar City.. It will definitely be worth it to know when some of your favorite artists may be playing in the park down at Echo Hollow!

So, are Silver Dollar City season passes worth it? If you are coming for more than one day, and you have kids then yes you can save some money. If you want to take advantage of the “arrive after 3 PM and receive the next day free” tip that I shared earlier, then I would “pass”…. If you will be here during the summer and then returning in the fall for the amazing Silver Dollar City Christmas then yes get those passes.. They are worth it.
