When people think of Silver Dollar City they think of the music shows, Silver Dollar City, Table Rock Lake, Outlet Malls, and the Branson Landing right at the top of the list.  However, after living in the Branson area for 3 decades, a hidden gem that I highly recommend that you visit is Busiek Trail about 15 miles north of Branson.  It is located in Highlandville, just a mile or two before you get to Ozark, Mo.  Busiek Trail offers visitors a cheap place to camp, hiking trails, spectacular views, and crystal clear streams.  The Busiek State Forest and Wildlife Area is one of the best kept secrets of the Ozarks.
