How to Get Into Silver Dollar City for Free with No Hidden Catch

Silver Dollar City wants you to spend as much time as possible in their park.. The longer you are in their park, the more likely you will be separated from your dollars :). If you already have an afternoon show or activities lined up, you won’t want to plan an evening trip to SDC. Especially when you consider that daily ticket prices are pretty expensive.
Should You Go to A Timeshare Presentation to Get into Silver Dollar City for Free?
Don’t worry, this is not our “secret tip” on how to get into Silver Dollar City for free. However, this is an avenue that may be suitable for some but not for others. I have went to a timeshare presentations before, but likely will not attend any more in the future. Personally, I don’t like being “sold” something that I’m not interested in just to get free admission into a show or attraction. Especially, considering the fact that most of the Timeshare salespeople are pretty darn good!
If your not careful, you may wind up with buyers remorse. I will do an entire article about the Timeshare industry and what they don’t tell you in the future. Go to The Park After 3PM for Free Admission the Next Day
If you go to ticket outlets that are all over Branson, you will see 2 for 1 coupons and various discount packages. Many of these require you to buy a vacation package which may not contain what you want. You may also not want your itinerary to be dictated to what the vacation package limits you to.. I prefer the “free flow” type of vacation. We are the captains of our own ship right? We want to do things our way, and on our schedule! This is why I love the “After 3PM” Free Admission Trick…
Silver Dollar City doesn’t openly advertise the “After 3 PM – Next Day is Free policy very much. They would rather you buy a two day pass. You will get a better deal buying a 2 day pass, rather than two one day passes but my tip is better. If you go to SDC after 3:00 you will be allowed admission to the entire next day for free. Yes, $0.00. They realize that the drop off rate of people increases dramatically in the late afternoon. This way they can still separate you from your dollars (or try) by keeping you at the park for two days. I must admit, that walking through the park without buying one of their funnel cakes, or succotash bowls will be very hard to pass up.. The delicious temptations are around every corner.
Going to the Silver Dollar City after 3PM offers several advantages.
- The park begins to thin out quickly after 3 PM. Silver Dollar City has a hilly terrain. You will get worn out spending an entire day there. Most people arrive early and by 3PM are walking around like well fed zombies! You will be able to enjoy the park with much less people!
- Shorter lines for rides – If you love roller coasters, Silver Dollar City has many rides you will love. In fact, they have a new record breaking roller coaster that has been a huge hit this year! During busy days, the lines can be pretty long.. Nobody likes to wait in long lines to go on a 3 minute ride. After 3 PM, the lines are much shorter and you will get more bang for the buck.
- You will be able to Get in Silver Dollar City For Free Admission the Following Day. Be sure not to lose your ticket stub because, you get the next day’s admission to the park for no charge. Simply show your paid ticket stub from the day before and you can enjoy the next day for free. You may stay all day and enjoy the shows, eat at unique restaurants, go on some rides, and marvel at the craftsmen working their craft.
